SATA harddisk are the new standard. Motherboard manufacturers already produce their products including SATA controllers. They are much easier to install and don't need much space because of their smaller wires.

The transmission rate is much higher than the rate of the old EIDE-drives. SATA transmitt with up to 3 GB/s (EIDE 100MB/s).

We install the HDD for free if you buy a DVR including hard disc.
